Welcome to our SA Community!
The Sumner Academy PTO is about working together toward a common goal. That goal is creating a better school and better educational experience for our children. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers and administrators can do their best work -- and so can our children.
In addition to the important events listed below, the PTO also coordinates refreshments for school programs, healthy snacks during achievement testing, teacher snacks throughout the year, teacher/staff gifts at Christmas, and provides t-shirts, lunch and water during Field Day.

Overall School Support
An essential component of the PTO is to plan and run fundraising event. Volunteers dedicate their time and talents to help plan, organize, and execute our programs and events.
Fundraisers have included programs like the Read-A-Thon and the annual Sumner Academy Fun Run. We also host programs like the annual uniform swap and the Fall Bonfire.
In 2023, we were able to raise over $15,000.00 for campus security upgrades!
The PTO proudly helps foster community spirit and creates opportunities for social and fundraising events. The PTO is open to all members of our parent community. All parents of SA students, as well as staff, are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings and help support our school. Meetings are typically held the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 in the cafetorium.
