We know this is an important decision for families. At Sumner Academy, that investment goes beyond academics—students are known, supported, and challenged as they grow in confidence, independence, and a strong sense of community.
From hands-on learning in the IDEA HUB to creative expression through our fine arts program, students engage in meaningful experiences that build both skills and self-awareness. Each child is encouraged to think independently, take ownership of their learning, and develop the confidence to navigate what comes next.
Our family decided early on that our kids’ education and happiness were a priority. We are extremely happy with the investment we have made in sending our students to Sumner Academy. This has been returned to us many times over with children who love school, having excellent academic habits, and are growing into kind adults. Our oldest received a full ride to the college of their choice and our middle child will graduate high school one year early. The education and support system at Sumner Academy has been such an integral part of our children’s success.
Tuition & Fees
What’s Included in Tuition?
Tuition at Sumner Academy is intentionally all-inclusive, covering technology, textbooks, supplies, day field trips, and lunch. Families can expect a clear and predictable cost throughout the year.
What’s Not Included — Registration Fee and optional expenses such as school uniforms (with a uniform swap available), after-school care, and overnight field trips are not included in tuition.

Registration Information
Each applicant must submit a $60 non-refundable application fee for consideration for admission to our program.
Registration Fee: $400.00
Re-enrollment Registration Fee:
- $200.00 until March 1st
- $400.00 March 2 – April 1
- $600.00 after April 1st
Families with more than one child are eligible for a 50% discount off the Registration Fee for their additional children. Families with more than two children are eligible for a 25% discount off their additional children.
Extended Care
All Sumner Academy students can stay for after-care from the hours of 2:50 to 5:45 p.m.
Annual Fees: $1,760.00
Drop-In Rate: $12.00 per day; $1.00 a minute after 5:45 p.m.
Drop-in rate for after-school care will be billed monthly.
