Sumner Academy is a pre-k through eighth-grade coeducational independent school. The School believes in nurturing a love of learning and encouraging the pursuit of excellence. We teach with patience, compassion, and understanding while creating a challenging and stimulating learning environment that is emotionally safe. Our Mission is to discover and cultivate each child's unique abilities.

Sumner Academy resides in Gallatin, TN, a small but bustling town just 30 miles north of Nashville. The area is home to many outdoor recreation spots, such as a golf course and plenty of parks. Gallatin boasts an active food and arts scene, with many events planned throughout the year at "The Square" in downtown Gallatin and surrounding areas.
