Sumner Academy Class of 2016
Posted 08/25/2016 01:59PM

On May 26th, 2016, Sumner Academy graduated eighteen young men and women. These most recent alumni of our school each have bright futures ahead of them as they matriculate to high school.

Ten of the graduates have chosen Pope John Paul, II as their high school. Traditionally, since its inception, JP II has received a majority of Sumner Academy graduates, many of whom became valedictorians and salutatorians. Four of our graduates have chosen public high schools close to their homes. Two are headed to the University School of Nashville, one to Ensworth and one will continue his education in Austin, Texas.

We are proud of the hard work and diligence that the Class of 2016 has displayed throughout their years at Sumner Academy. Our focus on the individual accentuates learning in a “prescriptive” manner.
