Volunteer

Sumner Academy is dedicated to the belief that education is a collaborative effort among the school, the students and their families. The most successful students are ones who are challenged by their schools and encouraged and supported by their families.

The Parent Teacher Organization of Sumner Academy invites all parents to join them in the education of our children. Volunteering provides the perfect opportunity to show children that their parents support them. At the same time, volunteering parents get a glimpse into their children's daily activities. Volunteering is the best way for parents to know their children's teachers, friends, and the other parents throughout the school.

All school volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application, and must check in at the administrative office. Applications are available in the office.
